"I am an international student from Germany, studying here within the ERASMUS Programme. I entered the classroom on my first day, feeling very nervous about stepping into this group of strangers in a foreign country - Hayley immediately took me in, integrated me in the group, showed me around the University and made me feel very welcome. Within a few days she had also invited me to her home, showed me all the lovely places in the area and made me fall in love with Staffordshire eternally! She is also a remarkable woman who I really look up to and I can't thank her enough. She has made Staffordshire, the Uni and the area my home away from home and I don't think she knows how much impact an act like this makes for a new (and especially international) student. THANK YOU HAYLEY and all the other SU students welcoming new & international students to this remarkable University! I'm now very #proudtobestaffs ! "
