As we now come to the end of Black History Month, Staffordshire University Students' Union is proud to have showcased commemoration of achievements, events and raised awareness of Black history.

However, although October is officially Black History Month, we need to realise that the celebration of Black History has not come to an end. Regardless of our different races, we all belong to one race: the Human race! Therefore, we need to treat everyone with respect and dignity to make our world a beautiful place and make us all #ProudToBe.

Martin Luther King once said, "The time is always right to do what is right".

We stand together to state that racism and discrimination will not be tolerated in any shape and form here in our community.
