If you LOVE Cookie Dough, then look no further than this quick and simple recipe. You can adapt the recipe to include your favourite chocolate too!

You Will Need:

  • A Big Bowl
  • A Saucepan
  • A Whisk
  • A Big Spoon
  • Shallow Dishes

Ingredients:

  • 60g Unsalted Butter
  • 50g Light Brown Sugar
  • 50g Granulated Sugar
  • 1 Egg
  • 1/2 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 125g Plain Flour
  • 1/2 tsp Bicarbonate of Soda
  • A Pinch of Salt
  • 1/2 tbsp Cornflour
  • 100g Chocolate Chips (or any chocolate you like!)

Step One:

Preheat your oven to 190 degrees or 170 degrees fan.

Step Two:

Melt your butter in the microwave, or over a pan of boiling water.

Step Three:

Once your butter has melted, add in your two sugars (light brown and granulated sugar) and whisk it until the sugar has started to dissolve.

Step Four:

Add in your egg and vanilla essence and mix again until combined.

Step Five:

Add in your flour, bicarbonate of soda, salt, cornflour and chocolate chips. Mix until it starts to form a thick cookie dough.

Step Six:

Grease your pots or foil trays with butter.

Step Seven:

Spoon your Cookie Dough mixture evenly into your pots and spread it out so that the mixture covers the entire pot.

Step Eight:

Place your pots filled with Cookie Dough onto a baking tray so that they are easy to move in and out of the oven.

Step Nine:

Bake in your oven for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown and just cooked in the centre - the more gooey the better!

Step Ten:

Leave to cool for a few minutes, and then top with your favourite sauce, ice cream or both!
