Update on Library Changes being put into effect
The ways that our University community access our wide range of Library resources and services is changing. Demand for digital learning resources has increased significantly which is why our University Library Transformation Review Group has been working behind the scenes to take our library facilities to the next level.
The team is currently focusing on three key areas of development: digital resources, upgraded systems, and redesigned library spaces.

Throughout July 2021 the following changes to services in the Library will be taking place:
No Reservations - Tuesday 6 July 2021 to Tuesday 27 July 2021
You will not be able to reserve any books from now until the new system is live on Tuesday 27 July 2021
Book issuing and returns suspended - Thursday 22 July 2021 to Wednesday 28 July 2021
Please take out any items you need over this period before Thursday 22 July 2021.
KOHA Accounts No Longer Available - Thursday 22 July 2021
Your KOHA library account will no longer accessible from Thursday 22 July 2021. Library account information will be transferred to the new system and available on Tuesday 27 July 2021.
Library Management System (LMS) - Tuesday 27 July 2021
Users should expect disruption to service on this date.
New LMS operational - Tuesday 27 July 2021
Users should familiarise themselves with changes to the ways in which library materials are searched. ‘How to’ videos will be available in the training section on the Library website soon.
