Every year we ask students one key question:

"What would you do if you ran the University?"

Here's what you told us...

Counting through the submissions students made through our short form, we identified themes raised in people's submissions, combining them together to reach the four key priorities students shared with us:

  1. Learning & Teaching

  2. Services, Support & Amenities

  3. Value for Money

  4. Communications

So, what happens now?

We'll now use these themes to shape the Officer Teams work for the remainder of this academic year - as they regularly review progress on the Team Manifesto.

We'll also share this information with candidates in this year's Leadership Race, to help them shape their manifestos and stay relevant to students as they campaign for your votes.

Plus, Speak Week provides a little more evidence to inform our lobbying of the University on all areas of students' experiences and for Your Union to use internally, when we complete projects like reviewing our overall strategy.

Thanks to everyone who submitted, and don't forget that there's always more ways to use your voice! Talk to your Course Rep, ask a question of this year's Leadership Race candidates or contact the student voice team.
