Tinchy Stryder performed at Staffordshire University Students' Union's Leek Road Venue on January 26th, bringing with him the sound of the late noughties.

Over 800 of you packed out the venue to see Tinchy Stryder perform songs such as 'Spaceship', 'Game Over' and 'Number One'.

The 30-year-old, from London, even stopped one of his songs mid-set to give a speech to students about being proud of where you're from, and being proud of your university - mentioning that he studied at the University of East London, gaining a B.A Hons in Digital Arts, Moving Image and Animation.

Tinchy, who has released four studio albums, even has a hit song with childhood heroes for many a student, The Chuckle Brothers, who are appearing at Gobble on the 14th of February.
