09/10 - This week has been all about Student Voice, for me! I was out on our Stoke campus on Tuesday and Wednesday collecting feedback on your Welcome experience. Then, I dropped into Stoke-on-Trent College to talk to their Student Council about student leadership.
16/10 - It's been an exciting week of planning and taking important steps towards big things! I've been ensuring our plans are commencing well throughout Black History Month, attending lots of boards and meetings with the University, and getting involved in discussions around the planned Student Village.
23/10 - This week, I had the opportunity to deliver a career talk at Stoke-on-Trent College, which encouraged me to push my presentation skills and went really well! I also contributed to some course monitoring meetings to ensure the standards of the courses Staffs are delivering are as high as we expect.
30/10 - It's been a busy week in the planning of the future Student Village! I contribute to these meetings to ensure the student voice is being heard in the development of this new accommodation. I also hosted a Black History Month event on Thursday, which had a great turnout!
