Come down to verve on Sunday 20th September from 12:30pm till 4:00pm to celebrate the new academic year and meet new people.
The aim of our picnic event is to allow societies and prospective members to meet each other in a low stress environment in hopes of breaking some of the tension around attending a new society. If you struggle with making the first step, dislike loud events, have been busy during the week or just want to share food with fellow students, this event is a great option for you!
(we will also have a committee collaborative playlist playing throughout the event and have access to a cool camera for memorable photos)

Disclaimer: Many committee members will be bringing various snacks, drinks, games, teddies and blankets to help make this event great but we highly encourage students attending to bring stuff with them when getting involved (although this is not mandatory).
If you do decide to bring food to share, we ask that you follow union rules and either bring pre packaged food with allergen labels on it or if you are making food to let us know in advance so we can forward your food safety & hygiene certificate to the union. This is to ensure that all attendees are safe and don't have to worry about what they are eating at the event.
