Our Vision is that every Student will be Proud to be a part of Staffs.

 

We’re here to make sure that every student at Staffs has the best experience possible; as a student, as a member of our community and as an academic. We’re a charity run by students, for students. In fact, everything we do is led by our 16,000+ Students, through our representative processes. They elect our Student Officers, who are both our Leaders and our Trustees, supported by the Academic Reps our student also elect.

As well as empowering our student members to share and use their voice, there are loads of other ways they can get involved with their Students’ Union including: 

  • Receiving free, impartial and confidential support from our Advice Service

  • Joining one or more of the 100+ student-led activity groups, societies and sports clubs

  • Enjoying high-quality food and drinks from our venues; Squeezebox, Ember Lounge and LRV & Verve

  • Volunteering to develop their community, their skills and their experiences

  • Enjoying excellent and accessible events in our nightclub and around campus

  • Making a difference through volunteering and fundraising

  • Shaping their experience through Student Reps, Student Council and Student Officers

  • Joining our staff team as a Union Team Member in a flexible employed role
