I am standing again this year as a voice for students at the outlying campuses: BHL and Shrewsbury.
I will if you elect me:

Help to improve resilience and wellbeing of all students

Bring about changes that will improve not just Stoke, but also BHL and Shrewsbury

Be approachable and listen to every person who needs support

Increase events and activities across all three university sites

Increase sustainability accross the university

Improve Peer to Peer networks for all students
I have been lucky enough to be involved in a project aiming to raise mental health awareness and wellbeing of higher education students; the Start to Sucess (#StarttoSuccess) project.
Mental health and wellbeing are important to me and likewise should be to all students.
So If elected, I will continue to run with this and other projects raising awareness and the safety of students
As part of my campaign last year I pledged to reduced the prices in the coffee shop at BHL - #wedidit
I am currently in talks to secure a relaxation space on the grounds outside BHL.
Plans should be available towards the summer!
This is about every students experience at university accross every department and every campus, not just Stoke!
I will make it my mission to include everyone who studies at Staffs Uni!
I'm in my Second year studying ODP [Operating Department Practitioner] at BHL (Don't worry no one else knows what that is either).
A mature student (questionable), sitting on the wrong side of 35 (still under 40) and have two children.
