Charles Naden-Lamb Mountaineering Club Manager

Hi, I'm Charles and I have been an active member of this society for the past year and a half. I believe that I can bring some great ideas and changes to the club that will make it a more inclusive and enjoyable environment for everyone involved. I already actively organise weekly training sessions at Awesome Walls Climbing Centre for those wanting to improve on their climbing or just to be social and have some fun!. This is something that I am keen on keeping-up, as well as creating more training sessions and putting together a group of climbers that will be looking to enter competitions etc.

I also intend on arranging club socials; now, more than ever, it is crucial that we can get out as a group and partake in non-climbing related activities and just socialise, as this is something everyone has been deprived of in the recent year! It is important to me to listen to the ideas of the society members and to make sure that everyone's feedback and ideas are heard.

The University's climbing wall is a key part of our training that we are very lucky to have access to and it is important to me that we can regularly get a variety of new routes set, throughout the year, in order to keep everyone engaged and improving.
