Department rep:
Simple, Fair, Representation
This role is all about making students voices heard and directly addressing issues that affect students with the university and student union so I want to represent you by keeping it simple and keeping it fair.
My aims with this role:
- Simple: straightforward and to the point with regards to getting you the answers you want and raising the issues you have.
- Fair: striving for equity and equality for all students, and that Midwifery and the allied health profession students have access to as many opportunities as possible
- Representation: at the end of the day this role is about all of us students and making sure your thoughts, concerns and opinions are properly heard by the university and Union that represent you.
Some background on me:
- I am studying paramedic science at level 5.
- This is my second time at university, and I have previously been heavily involved with student voice and representation, ensuring that students' wellbeing and priorities are at the centre of university and student union conversations.
