A Thrilling Day of Gaming and Football Magic Unleashes at Staffordshire University!
Hold onto your controllers because Staffordshire University just had a gaming day like no other! It was a day filled with cheers, laughter, and some friendly competition as the Staffordshire University Students' Union teamed up with the Stoke City Community Trust for a gaming extravaganza inspired by EA Sports FC (yes, just like FIFA).
This partnership was the key to the day's success, and it was a blast from start to finish. Students were eager to show off their gaming skills, not only for the thrill but also to snag some fantastic prizes, including golden tickets to Stoke FC matches, a signed shirt, and a collector's item signed program – every football fan's dream!
But what made it truly special was the presence of two Stoke City Football Club players, Ryan Mmaee and Emre Tezgel. These guys are not only incredible on the real field but they also showed off their gaming talents, competing against our gaming pros. It was a real treat to watch these pros in action, and it brought everyone closer through shared passion and sportsmanship.
We didn't stop at gaming, though. There was a fantastic Q&A session with these football stars. They shared insights into their world, inspiring our students in a unique way. It's not every day you get to chat with local football heroes.
