You may of heard of Staffs Uni One Staffs Cafe, and if you've attended any of the events recently you have probably seen me there. But if you haven't yet attended or are wondering what it is all about then read on...
One Staffs Café is led by the Student Experience and Support team at the university who conduct weekly events which are free on Thursdays for the international students attend. The theme of the events changes every week so there will be something always new for the students to do.
The aim of One Staffs café is to create a fun filled environment for international students where you can come to chill, have a bite to eat, chat with friends, make new friends and feel comfortable, with the overaching aim of bringing all the cultures and communities together as ONE.
I have been attending to the One Staffs Café events weekly, and honestly it has been fun for every event .So far there has been events like speed friending, photo competition, making of valentine’s day crafts which was cute and cosy and making of the Lunar New Year crafts which was cultural. I have met a lot of other students at the One Staffs Cafe events, made new friends, new connections and had a great experience every time.
It is always filled with activities where students can engage a lot.
The Cafe events usually take place in The Catalyst Hall from 6pm- 7:30pm on the Thursdays.
