The Staffs Students' Union venue teams walk away with three awards, including the National Winners!
Best Bar None is a home office supported scheme aimed at the drinks and hospitality industry. The scheme assesses four main areas of an outlet’s operation:
- Venue management, including security and safety measures in place.
- Staff training and care, including how staff are supported to develop and grow.
- Customer safety and welfare, reviewing how customers are taken care of, including how they prevent the service of alcohol to those under 18.
- Customer service and community: recognising how a business welcomes its customers and engages with its communities.
Out of all of the Students Unions across the country involved in the scheme, Staffs scored a fantastic 98% this year and came out on top, gaining Gold accreditation, the Community award and the overall National Winner!
Well done to our venue teams for all of the work they have put in this year to give Staffs this fantastic achievement.
