With the next Better Staffs Forum coming up on 29th November, we want as many students attending as possible. There's some great discussions planned, and one student's idea has even been 'thumbs up'ed 80 times!

Sam Pillow, Vice-President of Staffordshire University Student's Union said:

"For students who've never attended, the last Better Staffs Forum was a perfect example of a student who thought that there was something troubling about university life and wanted to do something about it".

"In the meeting students dictate the action the Union should take."

"I would encourage everyone to submit their ideas, questions, and to come along and join the debate!"

Some of the ideas to you can hear about on the 29th include...

Recyling provisions for students living in Shelton...

The idea of students having more input in Students' Union budgeting decisions...

Having the Students' Union lobby for the reinstating of reading weeks...

The Students' Union negotiating and preventing the movement of the Computer Games Programming course between departments...

There'll also be discussion on how the University could make it easier for you to know your post has arrived...

If these sound like something you'd be interested in - come along and join the conversation.

Fee Wood, who was at the last forum, said,

"I learnt things I didn't know, and managed to speak on items that I felt affected students."

We can't encourage you enough to come along and make sure that your voice is heard!
