Join The Trent Valley's 'Trent Renew' team in their community river monitoring walk on Wednesday 8th April from 10am -12pm.
Join us for a gentle walk around the centre of Whitfield Valley Nature Reserve as we spot and record wildlife and plants living near Ford Green Brook.
If you have ever wondered what lives along the brook, then this is a great way to find out. No experience needed, we welcome beginners as well as people willing to share their knowledge and expertise.
We will be adding records using the i-Naturalist app, but will use other methods to check identifications. Please do wear clothes and footwear suitable for the weather and muddy uneven surfaces.
We will meet at the car park next to Ford Green Hall (free parking). There is a bus stop on Ford Green Road (8, 8a, 24, 60, 62, 90, 98). Ford Green Hall may be open at the end of our walk where there is a toilet and a café.
Please do email trentvalley@supportstaffordshire.org.uk if you have any questions.
