Applying for your driving license is a simple process! You cannot learn to drive without a provisional. There are two ways you can go about applying for this.

 

Using the Online Service (£34 – Payable by MasterCard, Visa, Electron or Delta debit or credit card)  

·         Applying online requires you to provide: 

·         An identity document unless you have a valid UK biometric passport 

·         Addresses where you’ve lived over the last 3 years 

·         Your National Insurance number if you know it 

 

OR

 

Applying by Post (£43 – Postal Cheque, cash is not accepted) 

Applying by post requires you to provide:  

·         An identity document unless you have a valid UK biometric passport 

·         A colour passport-style photograph
