The Transit of Mercury is among the rarest of predictable astronomical phenomena, with the latest transit happening on the 11th November 2019.
The next transit won't happen again until 2032!
From 12:30pm-2:30pm we have organised a sighting event at the Observatory, learning all about how to safely observe through the solar telescope, and more about the transit.
So get involved and look through the solar telescope at Keele Observatory, to learn more about what the Transit of Mercury is all about!
