This programme is for adults who are aspiring to work in Health and Social Care.

This programme is suitable for adults who are aspiring to work in a career in Health and Social care who have no knowledge or skills in this area. The modules detailed below are structured to assist you in making accurate self-assessment in your current knowledge and ability. Module 1 : Different settings and different roles. Module 2 : An understanding of the importance of communication and be able to implement effective principles to enable building of relationships with adults in your care and also other professionals. Module 3 : Sharing of information Confidentiality. Module 4 : Controlling of infection. Module 5 : Spotting Signs and Promoting Safeguarding. Module 6 : Getting a job - relate new knowledge and skills into applying for a job in a health and social care setting.
