In honour of University Mental Health Day – 9th March, we are holding a workshop to discuss ‘Understanding and Managing Pressure, Stress and Anxiety’ 1st floor Art Studio between 12pm – 2pm on the day.
We have limited places so please sign on in the register at reception with Omar Medina Student Support and Information Admin. Please note, we may not be able to accommodate everyone’s request as we have limited spaces however, we will do our best to find spaces for you.
In the workshop will explore
- what is ‘pressure’, ‘stress’ and ‘anxiety’?
- how does it effect you?
- understanding your physiology
- where does it all stem from?
- what are your triggers?
- what is your motivation to manage stress and anxiety better?
Also, please note this may be a ‘triggering’ or sensitive topic for some students. Please take note of time, date and venue for event. You can also get in touch with Sabrina Malik, Mental Health Practitioner at Sabrina.malik@staffs.ac.uk if you require one to one support.
