We're happy to announce that our first Pokemon Tournament is finally happening! and will be happening on the 24th of February, 12PM till 6PM within our normal room of T101! (The Beacon Building)
The Tournament is your chance to prove that you're the very best like no one ever was! You'll be up against various members of the society in a all out battle to gain the role of our Champion. Alongside winning the role of Pokemon Champion, you'll also have the opportunity to accept the role of our first ever Gym Leader with your very own team to battle trainers and give out badges (If you're beaten that is).

The sign-up form will contain a link to the rules of the Tournament that you're responsible for reading before participating. Any breakage of rules will lead to disqualification or further punishment. Once you've filled out the form, we'll notify you about the tournament at a future date through one of your preferred contact methods.
You do not have to stay from 12 till 6, you're free to roam! Just make sure you ask a committee member when your battles are or else being late may lead to disqualification if no valid reason is provided.
Participating in Tournaments is for Members Only but you're free to spectate if you do not have a Membership. Memberships are £3 for the entire year and they give you access to all of our events including Movie Nights, Tournaments, and Gym Battles. The money goes into the society to help us pay for stuff such as equipment and prizes to give out. Becoming a member would really help us out a ton! We highly encourage EVERYONE to take part in the Tournament as it is mainly just for fun. You do not have to be super competitive or even good, just make sure you have fun. We know a couple of people who are taking part that have never done competitive games in their life including us committee members so why not take part? You never know... you may win ;)
