We are delighted to announce that our upcoming Digital Activation Day will take place on Wednesday 28 September 2022. All academic and professional staff and students are welcome to attend this event.
We will conduct workshops and drop-in sessions to offer personalised support to staff and students to explore varied digital technologies. It will provide an opportunity to rethink and rebuild the future teaching and learning practices based around innovative techniques and e-learning tools.
Representatives from the Digital Services, and Library and Academic skills team will be present to provide one-to-one advice, guidance, and demonstration around all things digital.
Workshops (Location: Learning Market)
9:30am – 10:30am: Getting started with BB Ultra (for students)
10:30am – 11:30am: Typology of Digital Pedagogues – Which One Are You? – Share strategies, ideas and contribute to developing a caricature of different stages of pedagogy
11:30pm – 12:30pm: Creating a simulation activity - Learn to use a 360 camera, upload content to a simulation platform and add interactions.
12:30pm – 1:30pm: Catalyst Training – Learn how to use the Catalyst technology for meetings and teaching
