Thursday 1 February 2023 is Time to Talk Day, the nation’s biggest mental health conversation. The day is all about creating supportive communities and having conversations with family, friends or colleagues about mental health.
Why not use this as an opportunity to take time out of your day for a walk around our on-site nature reserve, led by Dr Jane Robb, Lecturer in Outdoor Learning and Biodiversity?
The perfect chance to talk with other students, get some fresh air and find out more about our nature reserve and the important role it plays.
With World Wetlands Day on the Friday, a day dedicated to the vital role of wetlands for people and the planet, we will also be bringing along litter pickers and hoops if participants would like to remove any rubbish as they walk to help wildlife and habitats to thrive. This is optional.
The walk will start and finish at The Catalyst, and we will be providing vouchers for a free hot drink per person to give you the chance to warm up and extra time to talk over a tea or coffee. (Please remember your reusable cup if you are planning on having a hot drink!)
To confirm that you will be joining us, please email comms@staffs.ac.uk.
