    March Endometriosis Awareness Month

    Current
I am the Department Rep for Midwifery & Allied Health, I'm a 1st year Student Paramedic at BHL and I live with endometriosis. I co-run the charitable support group Endo UK Staffordshire Group and I am currently writing my own book on the condition, I would love to be able to have one week in March (which is Endometriosis Awareness Month worldwide) where we can have visual displays in all main areas, social media takeover, I'd love to be connected with other students that live with Endo and do some informal interviews to express what it's like studying with endo etc. Some drop-in sessions for ladies to get more information - with access to reliable resources - leaflets and signposting etc, with a main view of raising awareness and signposting accordingly. Endo affects 1 in 10 women worldwide, I am one of a cohort of sixty - that means that on average, there would be six ladies in my cohort living with the condition and the majority of those ladies don't even know it yet and have spent years trying to find answers.
